Role Overview

Delos is seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organised Production Manager. You will be the main point of contact working directly with artisanal and luxury suppliers worldwide. Key responsibility is to oversee the successful management of the production process liaising daily to ensure on-time delivery to the highest quality. This role works closely with the Product and Creative Director, serving as the central point of communication between development, patternmaking, factories and internal teams to ensure timelines, quality standards, and production goals are consistently met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, solutions-driven, and has a strong understanding of garment construction, womenswear production, and the full product lifecycle. You must have an interest and passion for craftsmanship and be excited to collaborate within a small and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production process, ensuring CP is followed and final product is delivered on time in an organised manner.
  • Manage and set up seasonal costing documents, working directly with the product manager to complete all product pricing seasonally.
  • Place all Bulk RM orders in line with the CP.
  • Responsible for tracking the production budget, reporting when required.
  • Manage BOMS on Zedonk, maintaining and ensuring any consumption and product changes made in production are updated and cost prices corrected.
  • Seasonally negotiate production pricing and MOQ's on core and CF product.
  • Plan seasonal production allocation based on technical capability, volume, capacity, margin targets and brand objectives.
  • Responsible for the on-time launch of production orders and on-time delivery of stock, including identifying potential delivery issues as early as possible.
  • Responsible for quality control ensuring DELOS standards are met, coordinating throughout the production cycle.
  • Together with the PD and Merchandise teams, responsible for achieving the product margin target.
  • Develop and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with nominated factories and collaborators to ensure commercial and technical commitments are honoured.
  • Negotiate terms with these factories when required and source new where necessary.
  • Responsible for managing all inbound and outbound bulk deliveries, notifying the corresponding teams frequently, with support from the PD and Production assistant.
  • Actively participate in fittings, ensuring the communication flows between the studio and manufacturers.
  • Work closely with the design and development team throughout the collection development, liaising where necessary to clarify and troubleshoot foreseen issues with production.
  • Support the development teams through the PP and mainline sampling process where needed.
  • Support on sourcing new fabrics and raw materials as required, constantly working with mills, tanneries and suppliers to develop and improve new fabrics and components.
  • Seasonally review shipping methods and costs ensuring we are working in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Responsible for submitting and controlling all production and bulk RM invoices to accounting.
  • The role is not limited to the above and you may be required to support in other areas through the product cycle.
