Job objectives and responsibilities

  • Coordination of the Thames Water Operational Safety Authorisation (TWOSA) process for customer, internal and suppliers.
  • Manage and ensure there is valid General Maintenance TWOSA available for all the Thames Water sites for customer, internal and suppliers requests.
  • Create and maintain a tracker that will hold the up-to-date information in relation to all 3rd Party access information for all sites but more specifically, TWOSAs.
  • Acting as the interface for internal, customer, Vodafone or Telefonica representatives with the valid TWOSA when access to a Thames Water site is required.
  • Identify areas of risk to KPIs and raise with team leader to take action to eliminate, reduce or transfer the risk of failing SLA’s.
  • Carry out duties in compliance with MITIE Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and MITIE expectations.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety policy/legislation and sending relevant RAMS where required.
  • Manage the relationships for third party access sites, ensuring correct adherence to site rules and costs are monitored and escalated accordingly.
  • Help the Access Lead with reporting.
  • Ensure RAMS are compliant, liaising with the OM and RSQA team where necessary.
  • Report/escalate to Access Lead examples of multiple access blockers/denials.
  • Manage various accreditation streams as determined with HoSD and Business Support Manager.

Main duties

  • High levels of communication with all customer, internal and suppliers.
  • Excellent forward planning.
  • Meeting and where possible exceeding all SLAs for Attendance and Completion.
  • Regular communication with the Access Lead on issues and assistance in ensuring the plan is as optimal as possible.
  • Communication with the Access Lead on decisions regarding customer, internal and suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Understanding of supply chain/basic planning process (order, production, delivery).
  • Microsoft Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Maximo system.
  • Relevant experience in a Planning role using business in-house systems together with Microsoft packages.
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent business is desirable.
  • A knowledge of the hard services and facilities management sectors is desirable.
