- Carry out and document all tasks associated with the pre-commissioning / commissioning of the equipment.
- Be responsible for handing over a fully operational system for acceptance by the customer.
- Ensure health and safety procedures and standards are followed on site. Ensure all Health and safety documentation is filed, maintained and updated on site.
- Ensure commissioning schedules, handover and witnessing documents are updated, maintained, completed and filed/issued to the project manager prior to project completion.
- Carry out factory acceptance testing when required, Site acceptance testing and customer witnessing.
- Ensure sites are cleared of equipment and materials/products prior to handover/completion.
- To undertake any other duties as requested by senior staff.
- Carrying out site surveys to support project teams where required
- Compile RAMs where required
- Observing & complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal and ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Full UK Driving license.
- Has good working knowledge of basic protection relays and functions.
- Is capable of performing tests such as Contact resistance (Ductor), Insulation resistance, AC dielectric withstand tests, CT/VT primary and polarity checks, relay secondary injection, scheme checks and CT analysis.
- Capable of working with protection relays and making minor changes to settings and configs as and when required.
- Installation tests on distribution Transformers.
- Occasionally helping senior commissioning engineers on major projects.
- Additional Information
