    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The QS will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects , ensuring value for money while delivering on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a sound understanding of construction contracts and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Planning & Estimating Prepare and analyse cost plans and feasibility studies.Provide accurate budget estimates for construction projects.
  • Tendering & Procurement Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BoQs), and contracts.Evaluate subcontractor and supplier in procurement of materials and subcontractors.
  • Contract Administration Manage contract variations, claims, and adherence to contractual terms (JCT, NEC, etc.).Maintain updated records of all financial aspects of the project.
  • Cost Management Monitor and control project costs.Forecast final project costs and assess financial risks.Prepare monthly valuations, interim applications, and final accounts.
  • Reporting Prepare regular cost reports for internal and client-side use.Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a QS role within the construction industry.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software
