What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground power cables on DNO networks
Supporting on-site safety by helping carry out risk assessments and following health and safety procedures
Preparing tools, materials, and cable joints for the Cable Jointer
Ensuring all work meets Scottish Power and DNO technical standards
Using hand and power tools correctly and maintaining a tidy, safe work area
Helping to complete job records and site reports accurately
Qualifications
Current DNO authorisation (Scottish Power network)
SPEN Authorisation
Valid First Aid qualification
Manual Handling training
CSCS SHER Power card
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Street Works qualification
