We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Telecoms business who connects people through fixed-line and wireless telecom infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and access to information for all. You will join our Access and Outage team who are responsible for supporting operational delivery across multiple client sites.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with enquiries from clients and customers via email, telephone calls and different systems
- Creating, maintaining and ensuring efficient handling of documentation
- Working closely with a range of colleagues and stakeholders including internal teams, field engineers, and client representatives to ensure our projects run smoothly.
As an Apprentice with United Infrastructure, you’ll be given a real job from day one where you will gain hands-on industry experience, and the knowledge required to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. In order to fully develop in your role, you will be enrolled onto the L3 Business Administrator apprenticeship qualification with one of our training partners. This learning pathway is delivered entirely remotely, and you will access online self-accessed or virtually delivered classroom sessions, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.
Academic Entry Requirements
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have achieved, or be predicted to achieve by Summer 2026:
- 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Mathematics
- Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
- Good organisation, time management, attention to detail and communication skills
You must also be available to start full-time work by August 2026 and have:

- The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship programme.
Please note, as this is an apprenticeship programme, in order to be eligible to apply you must not already have an equivalent level or higher qualification in the occupational area, or significant work experience.
Upon successful completion of your programme, you will achieve Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
