We are looking for a Graduate to join our Water business division, which is a national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies.
The Role
Day to day, you will support the commercial team and assist the Quantity Surveyors who estimate and control costs for our construction projects, working with both internal colleagues and our clients at every stage of the project. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- assessing subcontractor applications and processing payments.
- supporting with potential negotiations or commercial issues.
- assisting the work winning team with tender applications.
- helping prepare monthly valuations, reports and variations.
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have already achieved, or be predicted to achieve by the start date:
- Minimum 2.2 Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Good organisation, time management and communication skills.
- Driving licence or be actively working towards achieving this
- Awareness of NEC contracts
You must also be available to start full-time work by September 2026 at the latest and have:
