Are you passionate about Health & Safety, environmental sustainability, and driving quality standards?
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining and improving Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards across all our operational sites. Working closely with the SHEQ Director, senior leaders, and site teams, you’ll ensure compliance, drive best practice, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Report daily to the Senior SHEQ Manager
- Conduct quarterly SHEQ audits and produce monthly reports
- Support ISO audits and maintain compliance with SHEQ standards
- Keep systems like ECO-online and toolbox registers up to date
- Help develop and implement safe systems of work
- Lead by example during site safety tours and forums
- Identify improvement opportunities and escalate concerns appropriately
- Contribute to SHEQ forums and monthly bulletins
- Promote PiLON’s/ United Infrastructure's core values and uphold data protection (GDPR) standards
What We're Looking For:

Your Skills & Qualities:
- Solid understanding of SHEQ procedures and legislation
- Experience in data analysis, KPI reporting, and admin tasks
- Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-driven with excellent time management
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
- A practical, problem-solving approach to challenges
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Preferred Certifications:
- TechIOSH membership
- CSCS card (desirable)
- Fire Marshal/ Safety Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate (desirable)
- First Aid at Work
