Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Person to assist with the daily operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, organizing stock, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if licensed)
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare goods for shipment and dispatch
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
- Report damaged goods or shortages to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not always required
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic numeracy and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
