Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 gross per annum (car allowance included), depending on experience

Join our team as an Assistant Site Manager! Are you an experienced and motivated site professional? We’re looking for a driven Assistant Site Manager to help deliver our Kitchen & Bathroom renewal projects across multiple sites in Berkshire. This role is ideal for someone with experience in refurbishing projects within the social housing sector, strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage trade teams effectively. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and are proficient in Microsoft Office, we would love to hear from you!

A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. For the right candidate, this role offers genuine career progression opportunities, including the potential to advance into a Site Manager position.

Main Objectives of the Assistant Site Manager role:

  • Lead and motivate all site-based operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and oversee adherence to health & safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
  • Monitor and control the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring all projects meet company and industry standards
  • Ensure the site remains well-organised, clean, and adheres to environmental and waste management policies
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of site activities in line with contractual requirements
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met, and they experience a high standard of service from PiLON

Must-haves and skills required for the Assistant Site Manager role:

  • Experience in refurbishing projects within the social housing sector
  • Construction Skills Certificate Card [CSCS]
  • Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme [SSSTS]
  • First Aid qualification
  • Full, clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Timekeeping and reliability
  • Prioritisation skills and flexibility are required in order to meet commitments and deadlines
  • Organised and excellent Microsoft Office skills
