Job Description

As our Document Controller, you will:

  • Manage project documentation β€” organising, storing, and distributing documents efficiently.
  • Administer the Document Management System (DMS) β€” setting up workflows, managing access, and ensuring data security.
  • Ensure compliance β€” maintaining records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Support the project team β€” assisting with document formatting, templates, and best practices.
  • Monitor version control β€” ensuring everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents.

Qualifications

  • Education: GCSEs/A-Levels; additional qualifications in administration or document control are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in document control within construction, engineering, or similar industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Asite) and MS Office.
  • Organisation & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to liaise with teams and troubleshoot document issues.
