This role is ideal for someone with experience in refurbishing projects within the social housing sector, strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage trade teams effectively. Main Objectives of the Assistant Site Manager role:- Lead and motivate all site-based operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and oversee adherence to health & safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
- Monitor and control the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring all projects meet company and industry standards
- Ensure the site remains well-organised, clean, and adheres to environmental and waste management policies
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of site activities in line with contractual requirements
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met, and they experience a high standard of service from PiLON
- Experience in refurbishing projects within the social housing sector
- Construction Skills Certificate Card (CSCS)
- Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
- First Aid qualification
- Full, clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Timekeeping and reliability
- Prioritisation skills and flexibility are required in order to meet commitments and deadlines
- Organised and excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in the social housing sector
- Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- Asbestos Awareness Training
