Overview

Join to apply for the Disrepair Site Manager role at United Living Group. We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager for a 6 month fixed-term contract within United Living Property Services.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the supervision and direction of all jobs from commencement to completion; ensure the Client’s specification and requirements are met, review progress and liaise with Commercial Support to ensure all costs are captured and that all works are carried out safely.
  • Attend Validation Inspections to scope up works based on Client’s Specification.
  • Review the Total Mobile Dashboard daily to manage job workflow; respond to Client questions and queries promptly; and ensure all notes pertaining to each job are recorded accurately on TM.
  • Liaise with Admin and Commercial staff, the Client when required, and sometimes the Resident or members of the public.
  • Report to the Project Manager regarding WIP and completions as required.
  • Coordinate and supervise the supply chain to ensure timely start and completion dates, and update these onto Total Mobile.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety.
  • Create a Health and Safety File for each job, ensuring all documentation is reviewed and amended prior to each job commencement.
  • Attend Post Inspection for every job to ensure snags are completed and quality standards are met.
  • Check job specifications, designs and drawings to ensure on-site compliance.
  • Anticipate problems and find ways to prevent or resolve them.
  • Assess and minimise risk by ensuring United Living H&S policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Maintain quality control of the supply chain.
  • Attend occasional Client meetings at the Project Manager’s request.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience within a similar role; knowledge and experience of the Disrepair Workstream.
  • Strong experience working in a fast-moving environment delivering a high-quality and robust delivery service.
  • Experience of working with a supply chain delivery model.
  • Able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
  • Experience of site health and safety good practice.
  • Experience of working within a customer-facing environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working within regulatory frameworks including financial regulations, data protection, freedom of information and waste management.
  • Proficient in the use of Total Mobile and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of equality issues.
  • Able to read and understand instructions, technical reports and designs, and follow company procedures.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, handle emergencies calmly, stay well organized and prioritise workload.
  • Able to develop and present written information clearly and concisely.

  • Relevant Site Management qualification or proven experience.

  • First Aid
  • Asbestos Awareness
