About the role
Here at United Infrastructure, our responsive team is growing and we are recruiting an Assistant Contracts Manager to join us. We are looking for a candidate that has experience of managing reactive repairs, voids and disrepair contract models, overseeing direct labour and supply chain models, and implementing efficiencies. The ideal candidate will be managing a responsive delivery model and will have experience in Housing preferred but not essential. This role will manage a new contract covering the Home Counties and East London. The commercial and operational teams are integrated to ensure best value and service to our clients. Procurement will be a major part of the role, including negotiating packages of work with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
About you
- 5 years’ experience working for a maintenance/main contractor
- Valid driving licence
- Competent use of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel trackers
- Excellent health and safety awareness
- Excellent people skills and the ability to drive performance from your team of staff
