Our team delivers innovative solutions to complex client challenges. The company is split into two business areas:

  • Utility Infrastructure – design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.
  • Social Infrastructure – revitalising homes and communities through retrofit, refurbishment, and maintenance.

We are growing and recruiting a Contract Manager to join our responsive team. The ideal candidate has experience managing contracts, overseeing direct labour and supply chain models, and implementing efficiencies. Experience as a Contract Manager delivering a repairs & disrepair model and work on Social Housing refurbishment projects is essential. Procurement will be a major part of the role, including negotiating packages with subcontractors and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts, oversee direct labour and supply chain models, and implement efficiencies.
  • Work with the repairs & disrepair delivery model; experience in Social Housing refurbishment projects is essential.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to offer best value and service to clients; handle procurement and negotiation with subcontractors and supply chain partners.

  • Asbestos Awareness

  • Relevant NVQ desirable

About You

  • 5 Years’ experience working for a refurbishment main contractor
  • Leadership experience
  • Good data interrogation skills
  • Valid driving licence
  • Competent with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel Trackers
  • Excellent client engagement skills
  • Excellent Health and Safety Awareness
  • Commercially aware
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to drive performance from your team
