We are looking for an apprentice to join our Water Infrastructure team who design, build and maintain critical water and wastewater assets on behalf of the UK's water companies. As an Apprentice with United Infrastructure, you'll be given a real job from day one where you will gain handsâon industry experience, and the knowledge required to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. Responsibilities- Ensuring all operational activity from start to finish adheres to all Company policies, procedures and practices.
- Ensuring that the quality and programme standards expected by the client are delivered as directed by the Site Manager.
- Working collaboratively with external and internal departments to ensure smooth running of the site and tasks are undertaken in line with the programme requirements.
- Reviewing and monitoring progress against programme addressing any shortcomings and issues as they arise in conjunction with the Site or Project Manager.
- Shadowing the Site Manager to learn and understand the site management responsibilities and how they are fulfilled.
- Working closely with the commercial team to understand and be aware of the financial position of the contract and raising any issues or concerns as appropriate.
- In conjunction with the commercial team and Site Manager, ensure that records pertaining to requests for information, verbal instructions, delay and disruption are rigorously maintained to ensure the Company's liabilities are protected.
- Assisting in the development of a Considerate Constructor's strategy and ensuring full implementation.
- Developing an understanding and gaining full working knowledge of the relevant contract terms and conditions and the associated obligations.
As part of your apprenticeship programme you will be enrolled on the Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship with one of our training partners. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will be awarded a Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship, a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) in Construction Site Management, and will automatically qualify for TechCIOBâL4 professional accreditation. You will then have the option to progress to the Level 6 Construction Site Management Degree Apprenticeship programme.
You will be fully supported through a variety of methods such as lectures, learning materials, and oneâtoâone support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.
Qualifications- GCSEs at Grade 9â4/A*-C including English and Mathematics
- A level 3 qualification, e.g. BTEC, A-Levels, T-Level etc.
- Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Good organisation, time management and communication skills
You must also be available to start fullâtime work by September 2026 and have:

Note, as this is an apprenticeship programme, in order to be eligible to apply you must not already have an equivalent level or higher qualification in the occupational area, or significant work experience.
