You will have:

  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
  • Skills in listening, communicating, and supporting pupils with empathy and professionalism
  • Experience in counselling, safeguarding, and supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Organisational and time management skills to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records.
  • A calm, resilient approach and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies, actively supporting the broader life of the school community
