Campion School are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Art, Design Technology and Vocational Department (ADTV) as the Head of Department. This is a wonderful opportunity that promises both leadership development and the chance to significantly contribute to the department's growth. The department has a proven track record of academic excellence across all subjects and we are looking for a dedicated professional who will play a pivotal role in leading the department, furthering our students' achievements and continuing to develop our excellent facilities.
The successful candidate should possess a strong background in teaching DT (Woodwork or Engineering is desirable), demonstrating effective pedagogical strategies and a deep understanding of the curriculum to engage and inspire students in the subject. There have been many substantial investments to modernise our facilities. Campion stands out as one of the few schools in Northamptonshire to offer a comprehensive range of Design and Technology subjects, including Food & Nutrition, Engineering and DT, in addition to Art at both key stages. This diverse curriculum attracts a high level of interest and enrolment, enriching the educational opportunities available to our students.
