Job Purpose: To implement and deliver an appropriate broad, balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for students. To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher or form tutor. To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. To contribute to raising standards of student attainment. To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for academic growth.

Reporting Line: Assistant Principal

Tenure: Permanent, full time

Salary: United Learning Pay Scales plus TLR

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the delivery of outstanding Design and Technology lessons in all year groups.
  • To provide a nurturing classroom and school environment that helps pupils to develop as learners.
  • To help to maintain/establish purposeful behaviour for learning across the whole school.
  • To contribute to the effective working of the school.
