Job description
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor.
The role
- Provide cover supervision in a variety of lessons on a daily basis with work that has been set by the teacher
- Support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all students and maintain an orderly classroom environment
- Ensure that students are aware of learning objectives at the start of the lesson
- Have high expectations of learning & behavior at all times, in and out of lessons
- Seek to make learning a positive experience for all students
About You
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly organised and a skilled influencer
- Be flexible and have excellent proven team working skills
- Be committed to your own CPD
- Have excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office
- Experience of a schools Management Information System would be a distinct advantage
- Have confidence to fully engage in being part of the school team thatβs makes a difference to our student outcomes and a willingness to contribute to school life outside the classroom
- Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills (see person specification)
34 hours per week (approx. 8.15-4.15 Monday β Thursday and Friday 8.15- 3.15)
