Registrations & Commissioning Manager | Group-wide remit with travel to services
£60,000 per annum
Reporting to: Acquisitions and Commissioning Director

Help shape our growth through regulatory registrations for acquisitions and new care home developments.

Every new care home and acquisition brings a critical sequence of applications, evidence, decisions and deadlines. Getting those details right helps services move forward with confidence and gives operational teams the foundations they need to deliver exceptional care.

At Care Concern Group, we are creating a new role, Registrations & Commissioning Manager, to strengthen the work across our growing business.

You will work directly with our Acquisitions and Commissioning Director, who leads all acquisitions and commissioning projects across the Group. Supporting that programme, you will manage the registration activity, documentation and coordination that help bring new services into the business.

This is an opportunity to build a specialist role with real influence; close to major projects, connected to senior decision-makers and central to the delivery of our growth plans.

The Opportunity

You will coordinate a portfolio of regulatory registrations and associated requirements across new commissions and acquisitions, keeping submissions accurate, evidence organised and outstanding actions moving.

Working closely with Directors, Home Managers and our central support teams, you will understand what each project needs, anticipate potential obstacles and ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

Alongside live projects, you will develop a reliable central digital library of regulatory certificates, licences and supporting documentation across the existing business by creating better visibility and making essential information easier to access.

What You Will Deliver

Well-managed applications and registrations

  • Coordinate the preparation, completion and submission of regulatory applications, including CQC and Care Inspectorate registrations and all required supporting information.
  • Manage multiple applications concurrently, maintaining clear oversight of milestones, dependencies, outstanding evidence and deadlines.
  • Identify potential delays early, resolve queries within your remit and elevate issues with clear recommendations.

Confident relationships and practical support

  • Build effective working relationships with regulatory registration teams, handling queries professionally and constructively.
  • Coordinate and attend registration inspections and visits, ensuring relevant documentation and colleagues are prepared.
  • Support Home Managers through their registration processes, helping them understand requirements and prepare the necessary evidence.
  • Keep relevant stakeholders informed through clear, accurate progress updates.

Reliable information across the Group

  • Bring together supporting evidence from internal teams, including insurance, financial viability information and building certification.
  • Develop and maintain a central digital library of regulatory registrations, certificates, licenses and associated records.
  • Establish clear tracking and document management processes so information remains current, accessible and dependable.
  • Identify practical improvements that make registration activity more consistent and efficient as the Group grows.

What You Will Bring

You will have direct experience of regulatory engagement within adult social care and understand the preparation and attention to detail required to progress applications successfully.

Your background could be in a care provider’s registrations, commissioning, compliance or governance function, a regulatory organisation, or a specialist consultancy. What matters is your ability to translate that experience into effective delivery.

We are looking for

  • Practical experience preparing, coordinating or assessing care service registration applications.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC and/or Care Inspectorate registration processes, with the ability to develop expertise across the Group’s requirements.
  • Evidence of managing several applications or complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent administrative and digital skills, including accurate record keeping and document control.
  • Confidence communicating with regulators, senior colleagues and operational teams.
  • The judgement to recognise when an issue needs further action or escalation.
  • A proactive approach: you follow up, ask clear questions and take responsibility for progressing agreed actions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to services as required.

Experience supporting acquisitions, changes of provider or the opening of new care services would be particularly valuable.

Why join Care Concern Group?

Our growth creates an opportunity to build your expertise across a varied portfolio while helping shape how a major care provider manages registrations. You will work close to the projects driving that growth, with direct access to the Director leading our acquisitions and commissioning programme.

As this is a newly created role, you will have scope to improve how work is coordinated, strengthen the information available to colleagues and establish practical systems that support an expanding business. Your contribution will be visible in well-prepared applications, informed Home Managers and projects that move forward with greater confidence.

Behind every registration is a service preparing to support people who need care. Your organization, expertise and persistence will help create the foundations for those services to succeed.

If you understand care service registrations, enjoy bringing order to complex projects and take pride in seeing important work through, we would like to hear from you.
