Purpose of the role
We are seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator (Grants and Funding) on a permanent, part-time basis (22.5 hours), hybrid working primarily at Bishops Court, B37 7YB. Reporting to the Lead L&D Partner, your main focus will be maximizing grants and funding claims. You will collaborate with stakeholders, third-party partners, and the L&D team to manage funding processes and identify new funding opportunities.
The L&D Coordinator will ensure all L&D activities are well-organized, administered, and efficient.
Main Responsibilities
Your duties will include supporting L&D and Talent initiatives to foster continuous employee development, maintaining and updating grants and funding data with CITB, monitoring changes in construction industry grants, and ensuring timely claims. You will also update training records, analyze participation data, and support the Learning Management System. Additional ad hoc duties may be assigned to support L&D initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have CIPD L&D Level 3 or equivalent experience, preferably within Construction but open to other industries. Experience with Learning Management Systems and knowledge of CITB grants is advantageous. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach are essential. A UK driving license is desirable due to occasional travel.
