Overview
In this role you will provide first-line HR advisory support to managers and staff, focusing on case management and employee relations, in line with UKNNL policies and legal requirements.
You’ll partner with the HR Support Team to deliver efficient services, support organisational change, and help upskill managers in people management.

Responsibilities
- Provide sound HR advice to line managers and employees in line with HR processes and policies
- Deliver efficient case management and guidance on employee relations and people management issues
- Advise on absence management, including occupational health referrals and return‑to‑work cases
- Collaborate with the HR Support Team to ensure effective provision of advice and support
- Utilise HR metrics to compile data packs and monitor trends
- Advise on job design, recruitment and selection, onboarding, restructuring and redeployment in line with policy and legislation
- Support cross‑functional activities within HR Centres of Excellence
- Lead or support site/company‑wide HR projects and transformation activities
- Support HR Business Partners during organisational change and site communications
- Contribute to risk management, governance and assurance processes within HR
- Key requirements
- CIPD qualification or working towards
- extensive knowledge of employment legislation
- strong team working and relationship-building skills
- proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters
- pragmatic prioritisation, problem solving and conflict resolution
- excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to legal notes, reports and data entry
- strong planning, organisational and administrative skills; proficient in Power Point and Excel
- positive attitude to health, safety and security
- ability to obtain SC level security clearance (including identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks and 5 years UK residency)
