Overview
In this role you lead vulnerability management to identify and triage security weaknesses across systems, networks and applications, guiding remediation with cross‑functional teams. You will work within a cyber security unit protecting critical digital infrastructure and contribute to ongoing monitoring and incident response. The role offers collaboration with senior stakeholders and opportunities for development within a mission‑critical government environment.

Responsibilities
- Vulnerability Identification: lead identification and classification of vulnerabilities across assets and networks
- Risk Assessment: evaluate scan results to determine severity and risk level
- Remediation Planning: propose remediation steps and configuration changes with technical teams and stakeholders
- Reporting: create and present vulnerability and remediation performance reports
- Incident Management: coordinate with security teams to triage and contain prioritised vulnerabilities
- Tool management: manage vulnerability assessment tooling and continuous monitoring processes
- Vulnerability Management Service: onboard assets into tooling and ensure alignment with policies and procedures
