Overview
Job Title: Operations Support Agent Salary: £27,342.00 annually Hours: Full time, temporary 3 month contract until 31/10/2026, rotational shift pattern Monday – Sunday
Responsibilities
- Ensure that rental vehicles are returned in a timely and orderly manner, and that they are inspected and prepared for the next rental.
- Interact with customers, process rental agreements and payments, and conduct vehicle inspections.
- Provide assistance with directions and travel information; resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Greet customers and manage queue control.
- Inspect vehicles for damages or issues, document them using appropriate tools, and assess any necessary charges.
- Outline and clarify final charges to customers and obtain rental agreement receipts and signatures.
- Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork.
- Ensure the rental car lot is organized and well-maintained.
- Follow safety and security protocols at all times.
- Assist customers with vehicle collection and, where needed, technical support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Prior customer service experience, particularly in the car rental, retail or hospitality sectors (1-2 years preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Openness to working flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Proven proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills; a team-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced setting.
- A friendly, upbeat, and proactive attitude.
