Responsibilities:
- Ensure rental vehicles are returned in a timely and orderly manner and inspected for readiness for the next rental.
- Interact with customers, process rental agreements and payments.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, documenting any damages or issues and assessing charges.
- Clarify final charges, collect signed rental agreement receipts.
- Provide assistance with directions and travel information.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Organise the rental car lot and maintain safety and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Prior customer service experience in car rental, retail or hospitality (1-2 years preferred).
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills.
