We’re looking for an exceptional
Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director of our Energy business.
This is a varied and trusted role where you’ll provide high-quality personal, administrative and organisational support, helping the Managing Director manage a busy schedule and stay on top of day-to-day priorities.
You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and interact with senior leaders, clients, colleagues and external contacts.
You’ll need to be highly organised, proactive and discreet, with the confidence to manage competing demands and anticipate what’s needed.

What you’ll be doing
As Personal Assistant, you’ll provide comprehensive day-to-day support to the Managing Director, including:
- Managing a busy and constantly changing diary, coordinating appointments, meetings and commitments.
- Acting as a key point of contact and managing incoming communications, requests and priorities.
- Organising and preparing for meetings, including coordinating attendees, agendas and supporting information.
- Taking notes and actions where required and following up to ensure key tasks are completed.
- Managing correspondence and communications with professionalism and discretion.
- Coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
- Organising internal and external meetings, events, client appointments and business off-sites.
- Managing expenses, receipts and corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Preparing documents, presentations, reports and other materials as required.
- Liaising with colleagues, senior leaders, clients and external contacts on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Working closely with other Personal and Executive Assistants across the wider business to coordinate diaries, meetings and events.
- Supporting with ad hoc administrative and personal tasks where required.
- Anticipating upcoming requirements and proactively ensuring the Managing Director is prepared and organised.
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working.
About you
You’ll have previous experience working as a Personal Assistant or in a similar support role, ideally supporting a senior leader in a busy professional or commercial environment.
You’ll also bring
- Strong experience providing high-quality PA or administrative support.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence communicating with people at all levels, including senior stakeholders and external contacts.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Power Point, Teams and Share Point.
- A proactive and practical approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high standard of work.
- The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change.
- Absolute discretion, professionalism and good judgement when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- A flexible and positive approach, with a willingness to support wherever needed.
Experience within infrastructure, engineering, energy or an operational business would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
