We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to lead complex, multi-disciplinary water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities
- Champion and demonstrate our core values: Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, and Excellence.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of multiple ongoing projects (up to £10million in value).
- Undertake Principal Contractor responsibilities in accordance with CDM2015 regulations.
- Lead the implementation of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) procedures across all projects.
- Conduct regular health and safety site inspections and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Manage overall project programmes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Oversee all commercial aspects, including budget management, cost control, and achieving target margins.
- Provide line management to Site Managers, Engineers, and Site Foremen.
- Coordinate and manage supply chain partners, resolving issues and driving performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders; build strong relationships and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Chair and lead project meetings, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions, actions, and decisions.
- Manage change control and client expectations through effective communication and risk management.
- Collaborate with designers to develop practical, cost-effective, and buildable solutions.
- Mentor and support the professional development of project delivery teams.
- Ensure all necessary method statements and risk assessments are in place and maintained.
- Plan and secure resources and materials to meet delivery schedules.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5years’ experience in a similar Project Manager role within the water industry.
- APMPMQ (or equivalent project management qualification).
- SMSTS (CITB).
- CSCS (Manager Level).
- CDM Awareness.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely.
- Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
- Proficient in MSProject or similar planning tools.
- SEATS or Environmental Management training.
