Our company is split into two business areas:
- Utility Infrastructure – Our team of Utility Infrastructure specialists design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.
- Social Infrastructure – Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.
Our Social Infrastructure pillar operates in the refurbishment and regeneration of thousands of properties nationally; we are currently looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide invaluable health and safety support and advice to teams undertaking cyclical internal/external refurbishment works across our projects in North/Greater London.
Your role as SHEQ Advisor will involve:
- Undertaking periodic risk assessments reviews and implementing more robust procedures when necessary.
- Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues/subcontractors.
- Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day-to-day works of our operational teams.
- Investigating incidents and accidents and providing formal reports and root cause analysis.
Qualifications: This is primarily a site-based role which will require a SHEQ professional with previous construction/property services experience, in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes. You will also possess the following:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Environmental Management & NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety (desirable).
