About Us - United Infrastructure delivers essential infrastructure services across utilities and social infrastructure, supporting some of the UK’s largest network operators and housing providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and implement a strong SHEQ culture aligned with a “Zero Harm” approach
- Ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and safety tours
- Complete SHEQ reporting (daily, weekly, monthly), including incidents and KPIs
- Support ISO audits and maintain SHEQ systems and documentation
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety alerts, and briefings to site teams
- Monitor and analyse SHEQ data to identify trends and improvements
- Maintain systems such as ECO-online and document control platforms
- Encourage reporting of hazards, near misses, and incidents
- Support and guide site teams and SHEQ coordinators
- Attend SHEQ meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum)
- Experience within social housing, maintenance, or minor works projects
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation and best practices
- Experience with audits, reporting, and compliance systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; SHEQ systems desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
