Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Lofthouse, United Kingdom. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering complex projects within our organisation, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively across various project stages.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management.
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other external partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in infrastructure or utilities projects.
- HNC/HND or degree in a construction/engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, resources, and risks.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to interpret technical information, including construction drawings and specifications.
- CSCS card (Managers/Professionals level) is preferred.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
