Job Description
Glenelly Infrastructure solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our Power & Civils Distribution business based in Scotland. Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions work with Scottish Power Energy Networks to deliver electrical infrastructure projects to maintain and modernise the energy network across Scotland. Our offices are in Kilmarnock and Livingston and this Commercial Manager role can be based in either - though you would be expected to travel between them and other sites as required.
This role would be a good fit for a Commercial Manager who has a background as a Quantity Surveyor or is knowledgeable of Contract Management or delivery to a large client. You will be communicating with the client to ensure that contract negotiations, interpretation and disputes are resolved in a timely manner.

- Develop and implement commercial strategies to ensure project profitability and risk mitigation.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Monitor and manage budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting for projects.
- Conduct regular financial performance reviews and provide reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and provide guidance on contract interpretation and disputes.
- Negotiate variations, extensions, and claims in line with project and company requirements.
- Manage all commercial documentation.
