Planner – Water Infrastructure
As a Planner in the Water Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the client’s renewal schemes.
The role involves overseeing the schemes from conception to completion, interpreting client requirements, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.

Responsibilities
- Undertake site meetings with client, highway authority and subcontractors to identify the best delivery method for the schemes.
- Produce construction design drawings for schemes.
- Liaise with client to ensure compliance with technical standards and scheme acceptance.
- Produce the design solution and scope of works documents ready for scheme costing.
- Ensure all planning criteria have been met, including coordination of CDM requirements.
- Produce construction programmes for the schemes.
- Liaise with highway authorities to identify and comply with street works requirements.
- Liaise with private land, environmental and archaeological stakeholders.
- Identify any customer communications that will be required.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic technical knowledge of the water industry.
- Basic Auto CAD experience.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Street works knowledge.
- NRSWA awareness.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
