Key Responsibilities
- Submit, manage, and monitor streetworks permits through the Street Manager system.
- Ensure all permits are obtained, maintained, and remain compliant with permit scheme requirements.
- Attend local authority and council coordination meetings to discuss upcoming and ongoing works.
- Liaise with Highway Authorities and other stakeholders regarding permit requirements, restrictions, and planned activities.
- Work closely with Site Managers and operational teams to schedule and coordinate traffic management requirements.
- Monitor works progress and ensure activities remain within approved permit dates and conditions.
- Arrange permit extensions, variations, and amendments where required.
- Request and manage LENS notices and coordinate associated activities.
- Liaise with landowners and land agents to obtain access permissions and resolve access-related issues.
- Identify potential planning conflicts and implement solutions to minimize programme impacts.
- Support the successful delivery of projects through effective coordination and communication with all stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Utilities Planner, Streetworks Coordinator, or similar planning role.
- Proven experience using the Street Manager system is essential.
- Strong understanding of streetworks permitting and local authority requirements.
- High level of IT literacy, including: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
