As a Planner in the Water Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the clients renewal schemes.
This role is to develop the client’s water mains renewal schemes.
This would be achieved by interpreting the client requirements, designing and scoping the best possible solution and maintaining a vested interest in the schemes from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking site meetings with client, highway authority and subcontractors to identify the best delivery method for the schemes.
- Design process producing construction design drawings for schemes.
- Liaising with client to complying with technical standards and scheme acceptance.
- Produce the design solution and scope of works documents ready for scheme costing.
- Ensuing all planning criteria have been met including co-ordination of CDM requirements.
- Producing construction programmes of the schemes.
- Liaison with highway authorities to identify and comply with street works requirements.
- Liaison with private land, environmental and archaeological stakeholders.
- Identify any customer communications that will be required.
- Effective communication with all stakeholders.
