Wakefield (Water Team)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Contract management in line with NEC 4 (Options A, B, C & E)
  • Subcontractor negotiations and contract management
  • Application for payments both Client and Subcontract
  • Forecasting and performance tracking both Client and Subcontractors
  • Project risk management, reviewing day-to-day project risks
  • Site visits for monthly AFP and sub-contract assessments
  • Create and manage cost to completes to ensure the business is aware of the project position
  • Deliver accurate and timely budget, cost, and change reporting
  • Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation and generate Earned Value Analysis reports, whilst maintaining robust commercial documentation

Qualifications

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial field
  • Professional membership status desirable (RICS, ICES)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent diligence and organisational skills
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and flexibility
  • Willingness to take responsibility for own development and extend knowledge of software packages
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in the water industry
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required
