Role Overview
We are looking for a Graduate to join our Water business, a national provider of infrastructure and non‑infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial team and assist Quantity Surveyors who estimate and control costs for our construction projects.
- Assess subcontractor applications and process payments.
- Support potential negotiations or commercial issues.
- Assist the work‑winning team with tender applications.
- Help prepare monthly valuations, reports and variations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2.2 Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or predicted to achieve by start date).
- Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Good organisation, time‑management and communication skills.
- Driving licence or actively working toward achieving one.
- Awareness of NEC contracts.
- Commitment to start full‑time work by September 2026 at the latest.
Graduate Programme
The graduate programme lasts for two years and provides a tailored development pathway aligned to your discipline. You will attend virtual and in‑person events across the two years to develop business, leadership and technical skills, working toward professional accreditation. Support will be provided to develop both professionally and personally, offering progression opportunities in a variety of pathways.
