Job Title Supply Chain Administrator Location Darlington Manager Supply Chain Manager

This role is focused in our Utility Infrastructure – Power Transmission and Distribution business area

  • Maintain accurate records of plant hire, equipment, and supplier information.
  • Monitor plant hire activity, tracking on-hire and off-hire dates and liaising with suppliers and project teams to ensure records remain accurate.
  • Take ownership of the PPE and tools category, managing supplier relationships, coordinating orders, resolving issues, and ensuring service levels are maintained.
  • Manage the PPE tracking system, maintaining records of equipment issued to employees and monitoring higher value items.
  • Coordinate PPE, tools, and consumable orders, tracking deliveries and following up on any delays.
  • Assist with plant hire reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and project teams.
  • Support the processing and checking of purchase orders and supplier invoices, helping to resolve any queries.
  • Assist with supplier performance monitoring and reporting to support continuous improvement.
  • Produce reports and provide day-to-day administrative support to the Supply Chain team.
  • Support training administration, including raising orders and processing related documentation.
  • Maintain project records and filing systems in line with company procedures.
  • Provide general coordination and administrative support to the wider Supply Chain and operational teams.
