We are looking for an Emerging Talent Coordinator to join the group talent team at United Infrastructure. As our business has grown over the past few years, so has the number of colleagues on our Emerging Talent programmes, and this role will be a key member of the team helping to support the delivery and administration of our development programmes, covering all stages from recruitment through to programme completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering the end-to-end recruitment process for Early Careers roles including advertising roles, screening and shortlisting applications, and supporting with the arrangement of interviews and assessment centres.
- Supporting external engagement activities such as careers fairs or outreach events.
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of early careers programmes across key stages from enrolment to achievement.
- Maintaining accurate records for recruitment and on programme progress for monthly reporting.
- Processing invoices from training providers, and submitting grant claims with CITB.
- Being the first point of contact for external applicants and suppliers, our managers, and colleagues on our development programmes.
Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative, HR, recruitment, or education coordination role.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional and approachable manner.
- High levels of attention to detail, accuracy in data management and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across different levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Additional Desired Skills
- Experience supporting early careers, talent development, or graduate/apprenticeship programmes.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, particularly high-volume or early careers hiring.
- Familiarity with HR or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Experience organising events or engagement activities.
- Experience working with education providers (schools, colleges, universities) or training organisations.
