United Infrastructure are recruiting for a Project Engineer Utilities to join our growing Major Projects team to provide engineering support for major infrastructure projects. This is a 2 year fix term project role, based at our head office at Warrington and requiring travel to work at sites.

All of the projects being developed are Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects across the UK, the first being a Carbon Capture Pipeline in the North West.

Duties & Responsibilities:

🔖 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification and consent agreement for working on and around multiple third party utilities.
  • Ensure all designs and consent agreements meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

👩 💼 Project Management:

  • Manage multiple elements of the project from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

👩 💼 Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Develop control of works procedures and risk assessments for all utility interactions.

📑 Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and progress reports.
  • Present project updates and technical findings to stakeholders and senior management.
