Assistant Site Manager
Are you an experienced and motivated site professional? This role involves delivering Kitchen & Bathroom renewal projects across multiple sites in Berkshire.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate all site‑based operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and at a high standard.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and oversee adherence to health & safety regulations.
- Monitor and control the quality of work performed on‑site, ensuring all projects meet company and industry standards.
- Ensure the site is well‑organised, clean, and adheres to environmental and waste management policies.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of site activities in line with contractual requirements.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met and they experience a high standard of service from Pi LON.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience in refurbishing projects within the social housing sector.
- Construction Skills Certificate Card (CSCS).
- Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
- First Aid qualification.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Time‑keeping and reliability.
- Prioritisation skills and flexibility to meet commitments and deadlines.
- Organised and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Desired qualifications
- Experience in the social housing sector.
- Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
- Asbestos Awareness Training.
- Health & Safety Awareness.
