Key Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, version control and compliance.
- Coordinate quality assurance (QA) documentation in line with project specifications and client requirements.
- Prepare and compile handover packs for completed water infrastructure projects.
- Maintain document control systems, ensuring all drawings, technical documents and revisions are correctly distributed.
- Liaise with design teams, site teams, subcontractors and client representatives to obtain outstanding documentation.
- Monitor quality records including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), material certificates, commissioning records and as-built information.
- Ensure all documentation complies with ISO 9001 and company quality management procedures.
- Track document approvals, technical queries (TQs), RFIs and engineering changes.
- Support project teams during audits and client quality reviews.
- Assist with project close-out activities, ensuring all contractual documentation is complete before final handover.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Document Controller, QA Coordinator, Handover Coordinator or Technical Administrator within the water, utilities or construction sectors.
- Experience working on Water Treatment Works (WTW), Sewage Treatment Works (STW), Pumping Stations, Pipelines, Civil engineering projects, MEICA projects and managing controlled documentation on large infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of QA processes and project handover requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or equivalent (desirable).
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (desirable).
- CSCS Card (desirable for site visits).
- Full UK Driving Licence (if site-based).
