Job Description:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working area on site.
  • Load, unload, move and organise materials, tools and equipment.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and qualified engineers.
  • Assist with the installation of switchgear.
  • Use basic hand tools and equipment safely.
  • Report hazards, defects, incidents or near misses promptly.
  • Support general housekeeping and waste disposal on site.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks associated with the role as requested by the Site Supervisor, Engineering Manager or company.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Comply with all site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications/Experience: CCNSG
  • Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels
    • Ability to travel at short notice, including long distances
    • Team player
    • Willing to work overtime when required, including working away from home Monday - Friday
    • Awareness of H+S regulations on site

Additional Information:

Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year.
