United Infrastructure is looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our team. As part of a dynamic, fast‑growing division, you’ll be at the heart of nationally significant infrastructure projects that will shape the UK’s future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contract management in line with JTC, NEC 3/4 (Options A & C)
  • Subcontractor negotiations, payments, and performance tracking
  • Deliver accurate and timely completed works measures and billing processes
  • Produce monthly cost‑value reconciliation and generate earned‑value analysis reports, whilst maintaining robust commercial documentation

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in NHF SoR Rates or similar bespoke SoR rates
  • Familiarity with the construction industry
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4, including Math, English and ideally a Science
  • Any previous Level 4 related qualification or equivalent discipline is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
  • Basic understanding of standard methods of measurement
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and flexibility
  • Willingness to take responsibility for own development and extend knowledge of software packages
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required
