Our team delivers innovative solutions to the complex challenges our clients face. The Responsive Repairs division delivers critical repairs and maintenance works to residential properties in partnership with housing associations across the UK.
This role is based in the East London and Hertfordshire area and involves working as part of a fast-paced team of Multi-Trades Operatives to deliver high-quality responsive repairs in residents’ homes.
Responsibilities
- Operate within the East London and Hertfordshire area.
- Deliver responsive repairs and maintenance work to residential properties in partnership with housing associations.
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, renovation work across trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tiling, plastering, painting, and more).
- Assess problems and provide practical solutions across different trades.
- Work directly with clients, communicating effectively to understand needs and provide satisfactory solutions.
- Use your own tools where required.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience with a proven track record in the construction or building maintenance industry.
- Diverse skill set across trades and ability to perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, tiling, plastering, painting, and related tasks.
- Ability to carry out repairs, maintenance, and renovation work.
- Able to assess problems and propose practical solutions across trades.
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients.
- UK driving license.
- Own tools (preferred).
