Purpose of the Role
To coordinate the delivery of engineering design information across multiple projects, ensuring designs are fully integrated, issued on programme and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities.
- Manage design programmes and deliverables.
- Chair design coordination meetings.
- Maintain design trackers and document control.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Ensure design reviews are completed on time.
- Coordinate responses to technical queries.
- Manage design changes and revisions.
- Support project planning and procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company design management procedures.
- Assist in resolving design clashes and constructability issues.
- Support project handover and as-built documentation.
Experience & Skills
- Engineering or construction background.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Experience with Gas industry standards and GDN specifications.
- Knowledge of IGEM standards.
- Knowledge of G17 and/or G35 specifications.
- Knowledge of BIM and common data environments.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Understanding of project lifecycle and design management.
