About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Access and Outage Administrator to support the smooth delivery of operational works across multiple client sites. In this role, you will coordinate access arrangements, manage outage-related administration, prepare job documentation and help ensure critical workflows are progressed accurately and on time.
You will work closely with internal teams, field engineers and client representatives, acting as a key coordination point to keep projects moving efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering high standards of administration and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate site access requests through email, telephone and client portal systems, ensuring approvals are secured within required timescales.
- Review and cross-reference site information and supporting documentation to ensure access details are accurate, complete and up to date.
- Identify, escalate and help resolve discrepancies or missing information that may affect access or operational delivery.
- Monitor access queues across multiple workstreams, tracking progress and following actions through to completion.
- Raise internal purchase order requests in line with project and operational requirements.
- Update and maintain access trackers, ensuring requests are managed in line with agreed SLAs.
- Upload and maintain access-related documentation on relevant systems and portals.
- Prepare and submit RAMS documentation in line with company and client compliance requirements.
- Support the wider operational team with job packs, status updates and general administrative coordination as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or project support role, ideally within telecoms, utilities, infrastructure or a similar operational environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and competing priorities.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, internal teams and field-based colleagues.
- Experience using portal systems, shared drives and document management tools.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data, documentation and compliance-related information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
