They now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Delivery Driver/Labourer. The position is 30% Driving and 70% Labouring. When labouring, tasks include:

  • Moving parts around
  • Cleaning machinery for refurb
  • Cleaning the shop floor
  • Removing nuts and bolts
  • Organising the shop floor
  • Lifting and slinging parts

Some of the cleaning of machinery is a very dirty job. The old refurbs are covered in rubber and carbon black. The candidate must understand this and be okay with it.

The perfect candidate would have experience, training or licenses for the following:

  • FLT
  • 7.5 Tonne Truck License
  • Lifting and slinging pallet trucks
  • Basic tools
  • Scissor lift
  • Manual handling

The position pay is between £13PH – £14.50PH depending on experience, usually with overtime available. Hours are Mon-Thur 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-1pm.

They have on-site parking, free tea/coffee supplies, workwear/uniform, hearing & eye tests paid for, and a WeCare support system. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays and a pension with a 3% employer contribution.
