Yard Operative in Runcorn

My very busy well-established recycling clients are now looking for 2 weeks minimum 2 Yard Operatives, to participate in a cleaning project. The role will involve sweeping, so candidates will need to be physically capable.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm, with a 30 min unpaid lunch and an earlier finish on Friday at 3:30pm, totalling 39 hours per week.

• Pay: Level 1 £12.73 without FLT
• Pay: Level 2 - FLT essential £13.69

Your role:

• Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain general housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment including keeping the outside yard clean and tidy. Adhere strictly to all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Prioritise and promote safety in all aspects of work.
• Site Operations: Operate the site and production processes safely and efficiently, contributing to our commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management.
• Team Support: Assist with other duties as needed, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain a high standard of work.

Your profile:

• Licenses: Ideally have Forklift.
• Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects within set timeframes while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively and professionally with colleagues with minimal supervision.
