My clients were originally founded in 1969. The company supplied and installed flue systems for heating contractors in the Northwest. In 1982, with increased demand from Consultants, Local Authorities and the heating trade for our products and services, they moved into larger premises and expanded sales coverage to the whole of the UK.
A SHEET-METAL FABRICATOR is now required for a busy sheet-metal/chimney company based in Chadderton, Oldham. To assist in the manufacture of stainless-steel sections and components in our Chadderton (OL9 8EH) workshop. The work will involve producing differing sizes of flue cylinders by cutting, rolling and tig welding light gauge stainless steel. It will also involve some mig welding in producing light gauge steel supports and brackets.
It is essential that applicants have fabrication/welding experience. The hourly rate starting DOE is around £14.75.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7.00am - 4.00pm, and Friday, 7.00am to 1.00pm. No holidays are to be taken in August/September as this is the busiest time.
